N.B. I am changing Lewis's yob from 1670 to 1690 based on the following source and to clear out an error message. (Patricia Prickett Hckin, 10 August 2019 ).[1]
I am trying to get the dates straightened out for Lewis Hogg et al. But if you have some info (& sources) please add it. Prickett-120 07:18, 14 August 2017 (EDT)
Lewis Hogg[2] was born in 1670 in an unknown location in Virginia. It has been said that he was born in Frederick County but that county was not formed until the middle decades of the eighteenth century; nor was the area settled by white people until long after 1670. ( Patricia Prickett Hickin, 21 July 217.)
Lewis seems not to have married until he was of middle age; his first known child seems to have been born when he was in his mid-fifties.
