Laura became the wife of John A Boger — married 8 Mar 1852 in Rowan County, North Carolina, United States. She was the mother of twelve children:

Camilla Margaret Boger, Crawford Jeremiah Boger, Mary Susan Boger, John Frederick Boger, Rufus Calvin Boger, Charles Alexander Boger, Luvenia Elizabeth (Boger) Barrier, Sarah Ellen (Boger) Goodman, Laura Catherine Boger, Martha Jane Boger, George Boger and Caleb Monroe Boger

Laura Leah (Holshouser) Boger passed away 13 May 1914 at age 79 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, United States. She was buried at the Grace Lower Stone Church Cemetery in Rockwell, Rowan County, North Carolina, United States.
