Osborne married Martha Klutts/z on March 24, 1870 in Rowan County, North Carolina[1]. Together they had seven known children including:

Osmond passed away from "influenza; probably complicated by pneumonia..."[9] on January 9, 1929 in Rowan County, North Carolina, United States and he was buried on January 10th[10]at Saint Peters Lutheran Church Cemetery of Salisbury, Rowan County, North Carolina.[11]
