Anne (Holyoke) Putnam immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).
Ann Holyoke was the daughter of Edward Holyoke and his first wife, Prudence Stockton. She was baptized January 18, 1620-1, in Tanworth, Warwickshire, England.[1]
Ann came to New England with her parents about 1637. They settled first at Lynn, Massachusetts, and later at Rumney Marsh, now Chelsea, Massachusetts.[1]
The "Holyoke" family were the founders of the present day town of Holyoke, Massachusetts.[5]
Curiously, Ann does not appear to have been directly named in her father's will, dated December 25, 1658. The only reference that may indirectly apply to her is, "I bequeath ... my mare foale & a kow to my Son Pickman."[6] This probably refers to Ann's husband, Thomas "Putnam".
Ann Putnam occupied in the church the "principal pew" reserved for women, the leading church distinction in that day.[5]
Death
Ann (Holyoke) Putnam died in Salem, Massachusetts, on September 1, 1665 ("1:7 m: 1665").[1][7]

I did some clean-up of the gedcom imported sources to take care of a span tag error. Lots more to do here, but if someone is interested in taking it on, between the father's and the husband's profiles, there should be lots to borrow from.
