Hiram was born in 1811. He is the son of Luther and Clarissa (Forsythe) Holbrook. He passed away in 1906.[1][2]

7. Hiram Terry Horton (7), born Norway, Herkimer Co., N. Y., April 27, 1811; died Chicago, Ill., Jan. 7, 1906, aged 94 years, 8 mos., 10 days; married in Norway, N. Y., Nov. 8, 1822, Mary, daughter of Ebenezer and Sarah (Reeves) Hurd, born Nov. 2, 1807, ay Norway, N. Y.; d. March 15, 1900, at Rochester, Minn. Of the 95 years of his life, the first 22 were spent in his native town, the following four years, 1833 - 1837, at Painesville, Ohio. Four years, a837 - 1841, at Byron, Ill. 17 years, 1841 - 1858, in his native town in Herkimer Co., N. Y., and for 42 years 1858 - 1900, he resided at Rochester, Minn. During the last six years of his lofe he made his home with his son, Horace Ebenezer Horton, at Chicago.
Children:
i. Mary Elizabeth (8), b. Nov. 25, 1837; d. June 2, 1918; m. Dec. 5, 1877, Edwin Coon, son of Amherst and Sally Betsy (Treat) Coon. He was b. Feb. 5, 1834; d. Jan. 1914. No children.
