Biography

Jonathan Horton was born circa 1694, the son of Jonathan Horton and Bethia Conklin of Long Island, New York[1]

Around 1720, he married Elizabeth Goldsmith, daughter of John (born November 3, 1701)[1], and their children included:

  1. Israel, born 1728, who married Sarah Lee[1]
  2. Jonathan, born 1730, who married Bethia Horton[1] [2]
  3. Barnabas, born 1732, who married Mary Tuthill[1]
  4. Zaccheus, born 1734, who married a widow Elizabeth (Unknown) Case[1]
  5. Bethia, born 1736, who married David Tuthill[1]
