Biography
Alexander William Hovey was born on September 6, 1831, in Northumberland, New Brunswick, Canada, his father, Aaron, was 43 and his mother, Helen, was 41. He married Susannah Elizabeth Pond on October 27, 1859, in his hometown. They had eight children in 18 years. He died in 1890 in Northumberland, New Brunswick, Canada, at the age of 59, and was buried there.
