DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Daniel by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Daniel:

Hello. Here's a good write-up on the Daniel Hovey, Sr. line with all his children. Duncanson includes land / residence records for both Connecticut and Nova Scotia locations.

Duncanson, John V. “Township of Falmouth (Hants) Nova Scotia” Belleville, Ontario, Canada: Mika Publishing Co., 1983. p.274-5. ‘’Note Falmouth borders Fort Windsor (Pisiquid) and Kings county.’’ https://archive.org/details/townshipoffalmou0000dunc/page/267/mode/1up?q=Hicks

Hovey-330 and Hovey-570 appear to represent the same person because: again. I don't know how I managed to create a second one for Daniel. Sorry! Can you merge this? Thanks!
