Biography

1776 Project
Phineas Howe Sr. performed Patriotic Service in Massachusetts in the American Revolution.

Phineas was born 22 Oct 1735 in Hopkinton, Middlesex, Massachusetts, the son of Peter Howe and Thankful Howe. [1] He married 23 April 1761, Susannah Goddard, daughter of Ebenezer and Sybil (Brigham) Goddard, born in Framingham, Mass., 25 Sept. 1742. They had 11 children born in Hopkinton.[2] He died there 19 Sep 1807.[3] She died there 5 Jan 1837 at age 94.
