Biography

Ebenezer Howe was born 11 January 1774 in Hinsdale, NH (later Vernon, Windham, Vermont, the son of Moses Howe and Submit Scott.

He married Calma Frizzell, They had at least six children born in Vernon, Vermont:

Nehemiah Howe, born 12 Jun 1797[1]
Ebenezer Howe, born 21 Dec 1799
Joshua Howe, born about June 1802. Died at 7 months 23 Jan 1803
Elenor Howe, born in March 1804. Died 2 Apr 1804, age 10 days.
Infant son Howe: b June 28, 1805
Emrancy Howe, born about 1809. Died at age 13 on 22 Mar 1822.

He succeeded his father in business and property, and lived on the same farm in Vernon, where he died I5 Sept. 1855, aged 82.[2]
