John Howe was born about 15 June 1726 in Methuen, Essex, Massachusetts, son of James Samuel How (1695–1771) and Hannah Faulkner (1699–1759).[1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] [13] [14]

His siblings were:

John married Sarah Ayer (born in Methuen; daughter of Lieut. Ebenezer Ayer and Susanna (Kimball) Ayer). Their known children were:

John died on 13 May 1807 in Methuen, United States, aged 81. He was buried in Meeting House Hill Cemetery, Methuen.[15] [16]
