The will of William Hudson of Bridgewater, bricklayer was dated 6 May 1794 and proved on 2 January 1797 in Plymouth. He mentioned his children, Barzillai Hudson, Asa Hudson, William Hudson, Edward Hudson, Eli Hudson (executor), Silence, wife of Ebenezer Soule, and Mary, wife of Asaph Soule.[12]
His inventory was taken on 14 March 1797 in Bridgewater. An account of his estate by Eli Hudson was recorded which included funeral charges, cost of his last sickness, appraisers, taxes, debts paid, and administration fees.[13]
