In 1775, he served under Captain Philip Tilton in Colonel Enoch Poor's 2nd Regiment of New Hampshire Militia; time of service was two months twelve days.[4] He also served under Captain Calfe in Colonel Bartlett's 7th Regiment of Militia.[1][5]
On 9 Aug 1777, he married Elizabeth Huntoon at Charlestown, Sullivan, New Hampshire.[1][6][5]

Thomas Philbrick Huntoon passed away on 2 Jan 1831 at Concord, Lake County, Ohio.[1] He was buried at Huntoon Cemetery, Concord, Lake County, Ohio.[7]
