Research Notes
The following information confuses the two Daniel Hurds that moved from Roxbury, Connecticut to Sandgate, Vermont with the rest of their families. This information seems to be for the 'other' Daniel Hurd 2nd 1730 - 1811
Hurd Family History states he married 2nd, before Dorcas Osborn, Anner Castle, 1766 [2][23] .
Daniel's Find A Grave: Memorial #16698691 has a link to Anne Castle, also, but the request has been made to remove it since Daniel, who was married to Anne, has gravestone that looks like Anne's gravestone and 'this' Daniel's gravestone does not. No Find a Grave page has been found for the other Daniel Hurd.
Anne Hurd married Isaac Castle, then married Daniel Hurd, so she is known as Anne (Hurd) Castle Hurd.
History of Ancient Woodbury, CT has a marriage of Daniel Hurd of Roxbury and Aner Castle of Roxbury Mar 8 1756 in Washington [24]
History of Ancient Woodbury, CT has a marriage of Daniel Hurd and Anne Hurd Mar 8 1756 in Woodbury [25]
Daniel had children with Experience before then, so this is likely for the other Daniel Hurd 2nd 1730 - 1811 who was also in Roxbury, Connecticut and then moved to Sandgate, Vermont
