He married Bridget Littleton, daughter of Roger Littleton, Esq. and Elizabeth Stanley, circa 1577.

They had 4 daughters: Elizabeth, wife of Humphrey Perrott; Dorothy, wife of Henry Greswold; Anne, wife of Thomas Rudyard, Esq.; & Martha, wife of John Perrott.^[2]

Henry James, Gent. died and was buried 17 March 1586 at Belbroughton, Worcestershire, England. His estate was probated on 31 May 1586.^[3]
