James-18760 and James-541 appear to represent the same person because: These appear to be duplicates because the son Frank attached to James-18760 is a duplicate of Frank James (brother of Jesse James) The only problem is that if this is Frank's father, the parents Samuel and Perninah are incorrect. If Samuel and Perninah did have a son named Robert, then Robert's son, Frank needs to be detached from Frank so he can be merged.

So If this Robert is Rev Robert Sallee James, then he needs to be detached from parents Samuel and Perninah so we can merge him with his existing profile and the correct parents.

I don't think Robert is the son, from what I can see, Samuel is actually Robert's uncle, because John Martin James is attached to Samuel as a brother, and the original Robert James profile is there as his son.

James-18760 and James-541 do not represent the same person because: dates and relationships are not close enough to be a match

Hahaha! You're funny. Yes there are differences because the information for Zerelda Cole (her father was Zachariah Cole) and Hannah James and the lack of connection to the Finley's and Fry's of Kentucky is erroneous. I am unfamiliar with the name Poorer myself, I can tell you. Furthermore, the Younger family were also related through the Kentucky & West Virginia lines. The weirdest part of the lack of correct information for his tree is that in many biographies of Jesse and Frank James it talks about the way his mother would tell them bedtime stories about being the descendants of Scottish nobility, as well as having Shawnee heritage, which contributed to their feelings of distrust of outsiders overall. Without the Finley & Jesse Fry connection you have no basis for either of these well documented accounts. Disregard as you may, you can't change history.

Hello Megan, my grandfather Bill Mimms, s/o Gideon Mason Mimms, s/o Drury Shadrach Woodson Mimms, s/o Robert Mimms.

Robert Mimms had a son named John Wilson Mimms, who had a daughter who was the wife of Jesse James, the outlaw.

Robert Sallee James was the brother of Mary James, who married John Wilson Mimms. Gideon Mimms, my great grandfather, was a first cousin of Mrs. Jesse James.

The Mimms, Woodson, James, Poore families all began in Virginia, moved to Logan County, Kentucky and then the James family moved west to Missouri, where Jesse was raised. Let me know if I can help you with any connections you may have.

Best regards, Lilly Martin

#1. Change the spelling to SALLEE. This was given to him in honor of the SALLEE family, not related, but an important family.
