Marie Amable Janot est née le 22 mars 1736, baptisée le 23 à la Pointe-aux-Trembles de Montréal, fille d'André Janot dit Lachapelle et de Catherine Brouillet[1]
Le 1er mars 1756 à Repentigny, Louis Mousseau, veuf d'Angélique Picher, épouse Marie Amable Janotte.[2]
there are 16 known children born to this couple, most of whom die young. 3 are known to marry[3]
Sa sépulture n'a pas été identifiée. Elle n'est pas citée défunte aux mariages de ses enfants, le dernier daté du 10 janvier 1792. Elle n'est pas nommée sur l'acte de sépulture de son époux en 1800.[3]
