Biography

Isaac Johnson son of Humphrey and Eleanor (Cheney) Johnson was born in 1667. He was christened 18 February 1667 at Hingham, Plymouth.[1][2][3]

He married about 1690 Abigail Leavitt, daughter of John and Sarah (Gilman) Leavitt, and the widow of Isaac Lassell. Children:

  1. David, b. Oct. 16, 1692.
  2. Hannah, b. Jan. 17, 1695.
  3. Solomon, b. Mar. 9, 1697.
  4. James, b. about 1698..
  5. Daniel, b. Apr. 20, 1700.
  6. Sarah, b. July 1, 1702.
  7. John, b. June 11, 1705.
  8. Joseph, b. Dec. 17, 1707; d. Nov. 6, 1730.
  9. Benjamin, b. Mar. 6, 1711.
  10. Mary, b. June 18, 1716.

Isaac purchased land at Bridgwater from John Alden on June 20, 1700. He sold his land in Hingham, to Matthew Cushing, June 25, 1700.
