Biography

Lieutenant Abel JUDSON was born [1] [2][3] 12 Feb 1721 in Stratford, Fairfield Co, Connecticut. He married [4][5][6] Sarah BURTON on 7 May 1744 in Newtown.

Probate

His will is dated 3 April 1772 and proved on 1 August 1775 in Danbury. He mentions his wife Sarah, his father, David Judson, decd., his sons, John Judson, Abel Judson, and Nathaniel Judson, and his daughters, Sarah Peck, Ruth Firman, decd, Eunice Judson, and Ann Judson, his grandson, Judson Firman, and his brother Daniel. His inventory was recorded on 13 October 1775 in Danbury.[7]
