Bell and Maxwell claimed that Mary Kinney, daughter of Israel KinneySusannah Hood was the wife of James Sipprell.[1] They were reportedly married February 1, 1816 at Oromocto and eventially moved to Ontario where they both died. They had a large family of twelve children.
Recently, a new claim has come to light suggesting that Mary Kinney, daughter of Israel KinneySusannah Hood was actually the wife of Frederick Phillips (abt. 1793 - 1839). This couple were married October 7, 1815 at Maugerville. Frederick Phillips died in Oct of 1839 leaving awill identifying several children.[2]
It is important to note that like Bell and Maxwell's claims the Find A Grave profile is weak on sources, there is no photo of a gravestone nor are there any dates or specifics of her death or burial. Further the profile for Frederick Phillips wife, Mary Kinney is similairly vague on details and does not identify her parents.
So, there appears to be two women named Mary Kinney who are of similar ages. One married Frederick Phillips on October 7, 1815 at Maugerville. The other married James Sipprell on February 1, 1816 at Oromocto.
Which Mary is the correct daughter of Israel KinneySusannah Hood and who are the parents of the other Mary Kinney?

This profile lacks a source. Perhaps the marriage date has been confused for the birth date. The marriage date is actually February 1, 1816. The birth date should be October 25, 1798. If the birth date gets corrected then it could be merged as James currently has two Mary Kenney wives.
