Born in Marlborough, Middlesex, Massachusetts 15 Sep 1706, the son of Thomas and Elizabeth (Howe) Keyes.^[62] Married Hepsibah Howe in Sudbury, 15 Dec 1729,^[63] his father's first cousin, once removed, daughter of David and Hepsibah (Death) Howe, born in Sudbury, Middlesex, 1 Oct 1706.^[64] They had 8 children. They lived in Shrewsbury in a section that was to become Boylston. In 1734 he built a home on land in Boylston that was eventually to become the Cyprian Keyes Golf Club.^[65] She died 15 Apr 1792 in Boylston, Worcester, Massachusetts.^[66] He died 18 Jun 1802.^[67]
