Sarah Kimball was born in Grafton, Massachusetts on April 10, 1754. the daughter of Aaron Kimball and Mary Brooks. [1][2]
Sarah married Aaron Sherman on April 6, 1774, at Grafton. [1][2] Aaron was born there on August 25, 1748, son of Ephraim Sherman an Thankful Temple. [1][3]
In her father Aaron Kimball's will written on January 31, 1801, he left daughter Sarah Sherman, the contents of all notes I hold on her husband Aaron Sherman. On January 29, 1809, Sarah Sherman acknowledged receipt of $171. 71 as her full share of her father Aaron Sr.s' estate, from her brother Aaron Kimball, executor. [4]
Her husband died at Grafton on December 9, 1806. [1]
Sarah died there on July 24, 1834. [1] She is buried in the Old Oak Street Burial Ground at Grafton. Her inscription reads: In Memory of Mrs Sarah Sherman relict of Mr. Aaron Sherman who died July 24 1834 In her 81 year[5]
