Biography

Frederick Kimmey was born in Bethlehem, Albany County, New York, on September 5, 1775 (birthdate calculated from the age at death recorded on his gravestone). [1]

He (recorded as Frederick Winne, son of Jacob Winne) married Jannetje Ysselsteyn (Esselstyne) on 19 January 1801 at the Reformed Dutch Church in Bethlehem, New York.[2][3] On February 11, 1802, he and his wife, recorded as Frederick Kimmey and his wife Yannitie Esselstyne, became members of the Bethlehem Reformed Church.[4]

He died in Bethlehem on October 27, 1835, at the age of 60.[5] He is buried in Elmwood Rural Cemetery in Bethlehem.[5][6][1]
