Biography

Myrtle Kinnard wed Joseph L. Duckett in Putnam County as recorded of her September 13, 1918 Tennessee Marriage. A newspaper announcement dates the marriage October 13th as seen in this image from the Putnam County Herald, October 24, 1918.[1]

Myrtle Duckett was enumerated as wife of the head of household at 310 Marlbury (?) Street, Nashville Ward 15, Davidson County, Tennessee for the January 10, United States Census, 1920. She was noted as born 1891 in Tennessee and married as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household is head Joseph R Duckett.[2]

Mahaney-128 Karen (Mahaney) Raichle
The date of 13 Sep 1918 as listed on Family search is an error. License #1838 on page 464 Putnam Co TN marriages was issued 12 Oct 1918 the marriage performed on the 13th and the license returned to be recorded on 14 Oct 1918. The image of this license shows that the clerk inadvertently wrote Sept rather than Oct as the date in the left hand column.

The image is available on Ancestry. I don't think I am allowed to include that image here.
