On February 28, 1889 she married David White. They settled in Kanawha and Raleigh Counties, West Virginia. The couple had nine known children.
Penira "Chick" White died on October 10, 1932 due to complications from diabetes. She was 58 years old. She is buried in Raleigh County, West Virginia.
