Biography

Jacob Benjamin Klepper was born on August 13, 1790, in Pennsylvania, son of JJacob Klepper and his wife Rebecca (Unknown). His father had moved the family to Washington, Tennessee by 1792, where Jacob Jr grew up. There he met and married Catherine Bowman on December 23, 1817. They had 13 children. He died on March 26, 1862, in Limestone, Tennessee, at the age of 71, and was buried in the Limestone Church of Brethren Cemetery, Washington Co., TN.
