In the 1860 census, his family is listed just after his brother George's family.
The implied birth dates for his wife Nancy and their older children seem to vary quite a bit.
Nancy may have been his second wife, as he is living with a female in 1830, five years prior to their marriage, and the 1840 census lists two children older than 5 years, suggesting that there were two children born to a previous marriage. It is also possible that Thomas and Nancy were the couple in 1830, but had not been married, yet due to her potentially young age -- depending on which date(s) we believe. This might account for the subsequent variance in reported birth dates of Nancy and the older children.
