DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Frans by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.

Labuschagne-1978 and Labuschagne-59 appear to represent the same person because: Duplicates. I'll do the final integration of the bio after the merge, thanks!
A father's death date (Labuschagne-59 died 6 Apr 1794) should not be more than nine months before one of his children's birth dates (Labuschagne-58 born 1798) .
I fixed the spouses. Asked for a merge for the Van der Linde wives . After the merge is done the children should be investigated. I presume more merges will be needed Regards R
Both have the same spouse, though the following should be considered: in the case of http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Labuschagne-59 and http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Labuschagne-15 they might be two brothers, the one having died before the other one got baptised with the same name in 1752 (which was quite often the case / practice in those days). It could also be that it is the same person, the date of birth being 1748 and the date of baptism 1752 (also happened quite frequently in those times, due to illness after birth and or long distances ...). It might also be that it is the same person but that the exact date of birth is an approximate in which case further research is needed).
