Josiah Ames Larrabee, named after his Uncle Josiah Ames, spouse of his Aunt, Ruby Merithew, next door neighbors at Mount Ephraim.

Refer to the 1859 Map of Waldo County. Stephen bought the house in 1894, and it burned down about 1895. Stephen F. Larrabee's family then moved to Prospect.
