Corporal Jonathan Larrabee served with Colonel Ashley's Regiment, Massachusetts Line during the American Revolution.

Jonathan Larrabee b. 16 April 1748 (not 1758 as original submission stated) in Scarborough, Cumberland, Maine. Father: Benjamin Larrabee (4 DEC 1701 Scarborough, ME -17 Dec 1763) Mother: Sarah Johnson (8 Nov 1704 Kittery, ME - 26 Dec 1789) Marriage 9 April 1782 at Waltham, Middlesex, Massachusetts to Margaret Wellington (1762-1844).[1] Numerous ancestry trees give his birth as April 1748 as does the DAR record.
Revolutionary War Service: Jonathan Larrabee is DAR Patriot Ancestor #: A066839 He served as a Corporal in the Massachusetts Militia, also Private with Captain John Ashley Ashley-4554 and Colonel Joseph Vose Vose-229.
