Biography

Johannes was baptised on 24 May 1530 He was the son of Humphrey Lee and Katharine Blount. Sir John Lee married Joyce Romney 4 July 1552 at Alveley in Shropshire England.

He died in Shropshire on 11 May 1606

"Sir John Lee d. in 1605, leaving his beloved kinsman, Sir Humphrey Lee, overseer of his will. Sir John's oldest son, the heir, Thomas Lee of Coton, m. Dorothy, dau. of Richard Oteley of Patchford, Shropshire. Issue was as follows: four sons and seven daus.
Thomas Lee d. 1620 and was s. by HIS oldest surviving son: "LAUNCELOT LEE of Coton Hall b. 1594 and 1667. Residence--Chantry, Frome, Somerset, England.[1]

Son Thomas would have been born when parents are about 10; son John would have been born with parents about 75. Neither seem plausible. Richard is in the correct ballpark, age-wise.
