Biography
Anne Lucinda Lee was the daughter of the late Charles Lee, Attorney General of the United States under the administration of Washington and Adams, and grand-daughter, by the mother's side, of Richard Henry Lee, Mrs. Jones inherited a full share of the talents for which her family were long remarkable. To such talents were united qualities and endowments to give them the highest effect in the embellishment and diffusive utility of life.
