Biography

René Lefèvre was baptized on 10 Mar 1726 in Neuville (St-François-de-Sales de la Pointe-aux-Trembles), son of Pierre Lefebvre and Marie Catherine Grignon.[1]

Note: Lefèvre is variation of Lefebvre, depending on the priest it gets written one way or the other, René could not sign to make it evident which he considered his version.

Marriages

René Lefèvre first married with Marie Thérèse Dussau, daughter of Denis Dussau and Marie Thérèse Plau (sic), both deceased, on 27 nov 1752 in Les Écureuils.[2]

4 children from the marriage, 3 known to marry.[3]

Marie Thérèse Dusault died in April 1767.[3]

Marriage 2
René Lefebvre, widower of Thérèse Dusault, remarried on 4 July 1768 in Neuville (St-François-de-Sales de la Pointe-aux-Trembles) with Marie Madeleine Langlois, widow of Antoine Peltier[4]

No issue from this marriage. Madeleine died in April 1769.[3]

Marriage 3
René Lefebvre, widower of Marie Madeleine Langlois, remarried on 11 Sept 1769 in Neuville (St-François-de-Sales de la Pointe-aux-Trembles) with Marie Catherine Sylvestre, widow of Antoine Grenier.[5]

No Issue from this marriage.[3]

Marriage 4
on 15 Feb 1773 in Saint-François-de-Sales parish in Neuville. [6]

Death
René Lefebvre died on 23 April 1772 and was buried on the 25th in Neuville (St-François-de-Sales de la Pointe-aux-Trembles)[7]

Marie Catherine Sylvestre, widow of René Lefebvre, remarried on 15 Feb 1773 in Neuville (St-François-de-Sales de la Pointe-aux-Trembles) with Charles Dion, son of François and Marie Josephe Alard (both deceased).[8]
