Biography

Lydia Libby was born on 23 September 1795 in Scarborough, Maine. Her parents were Zebulon Libby and Lydia (Andrews) Libby[1].

She married Aaron Black on 16 October 1817 in Scarborough[2]. They had six children[3]:

1. Martha, born 9 Sep 1819; married Albion Blake
2. Sally, born 18 Dec 1820; married John Bragdon
3. Louisa, born 21 May 1823; married Issacher Bragdon
4. Josiah Libby, born 30 Jan 1825; married Mary Small
5. Harriet Wheelwright, born 22 Feb 1827; married Lyman Black
6. Mary Angeline, born 11 Mar 1838; married Enoch Blake

Lydia passed away on 24 July 1868 in Limington, Maine[4].
