Patrick Lindsay, 4th Lord Lindsay of the Byres was the fourth son of John Lindsay.[1]

He was the reputed advisor of James IV of Scotland, and counsellor to Margaret Tudor.[2] He was born in 1446 at Haddington, Haddingtonshire, Scotland.

He had issue, including:
