Esther Lockwood, second daughter so named by her parents Ephraim and Thankful (Grummon) Lockwood of Canaan Parish, Norwalk, Connecticut, was baptized on 23 June 1751.[1]
Esther married Joseph Everitt in November 1773.[2]
By her father's last will, proved in 1786, Esther was to receive £65 lawful money and a share of his household furniture after the decease of her mother.[3]
On 14 March 1786, Joseph Everitt and Esther (x) Everitt acknowledged receipt, from her brothers Ephraim and Samuel, executors, "each of us our equal proportion of the estate of Ephraim Lockwood, late of Norwalk, dec'd, agreeable to the will... except in the household furniture given to the widow during her natural life."[4]
Esther died later that year, on 16 November 1786.[2]
