Will

Mary Olmsted of East Haddam dated her will 23 April 1734. She left her son Samuel Olmsted the bulk of her estate after her debts were paid. She left son John Olmsted her bible. Daughter Sarah Cone received a "Duroy suit of aparrel" ans 20 shillings. Daughter Elizabeth Church was given her bed and bedstead and furniture and a list of other household items. Son-in-law John Church was named executor. The will was proven in court 6 Nov 1739 and the inventory of L102-12-10 was taken 29 Oct 1739 by John Spencer, Jabez Chapman and John Willey, Jr.[1]
