David was born in 1787 in Pennsylvania. He was the son of Johanes Lauman and Magdalena Zentmeyer. David married Margaret "Peggy" Joseph in 1813. [1] In 1850 and 1860 David and Margaret resided in Rockbridge County, Virginia. [2][3] According to an entry on Find A Grave, David passed away in 1863, though the entry pictures no stone. [4]
