Biography
Roderick (Mackenzie) Mackenzie Ist of Redcastle is a member of Clan Mackenzie.
Roderick was born about 1555. His father Kenneth was the Tenth Baron of Kintail and he became the First Baron of Redcastle. Roderick Mckenzie was married between 1575-78 (uncertain, but another genealogist has 1578 and I left that date as an unconfirmed fact)... He passed away in 1615. [1]
Roderick is the ancestor of the MacKenzie's of Redcastle[2][3].
Normally in Scotland, the holders of Baronial titles were simply referred to Laird of the location where the land was situated or had the descriptor "of" added between surname and name of the estate.

Y-chromosome DNA test-takers in his direct paternal line on WikiTree:
Mackenzie-3000 and Mackenzie-905 appear to represent the same person because: These profiles are of the same man but in the merge the content of Mackenzie-3000 should simply be deleted as inaccurate or irrelevant.
Mackenzie-905 and Mackenzie-3000 are not ready to be merged because: Only the name is a match, as the birth date is quite off and there is no death date to give a more substantial connection. At this stage it is only more supposition. D.O.
Mackenzie-1436 and Mackenzie-905 are not ready to be merged because: Once again, 1436 needs to be reconciled with its differing or missing dates to 905, or it will be replaced without those corrections
