Edward and Jane had the following children[1]:

  2. John a merchant, who died abroad unmarried
  3. Mary, married to John Brett of Dimsdale
  4. Elizabeth, married to Thomas Jolley of Leek
  5. Alice, married to J. Baddeley of Holditch
  6. Anne, who married first William Fallows of Fallows in Cheshire, and secondly Hugh Maire of Norbury
  7. Sarah, married to J. Bulkeley of Stanton
  8. Randle, born in 1588, and married Elizabeth, daughter of Humphrey Haws of London
  9. Jane, married to F. Martin of London
  10. Dorothy, married to James Trevis of Treveston in Cheshire
  11. Margaret married to J. Borne of Chesterton
  12. Catherine, who married Thomas Hunt of Congton

Edward, son of Edward, was documented in the Visitation of Staffordshire in 1583 where his father provided his heraldry and pedigree. The first six children were listed.[2]

Mainwaring-629 and Mainwaring-388 appear to represent the same person because: same death date - spelling variation of first name and also variation of son Randall, Randle
