Martin-63172 and Martin-3283 appear to represent the same person because: This merge was previously rejected, but let's try again. Let's compare these two profiles:

Both are for Simon Martin, both born 1530. Jeanne says her sources (uncited) say that he married Phoebe Matson in Essex. The profile for Martin-3283 has all of that data, but has unreliable sources. Martin-63172 has only a name and a birth year, no other data, and the sources are unreliable and unexplained. We can't tell what the quality of the sources are if they aren't defined.

Summary: these profiles represent the same person and need to be merged. They also need sources beyond these vague indexes to support the claims made. Please merge and add sources. Any differences can be explained on the merged profile.

Martin-63172 and Martin-3283 do not represent the same person because: My source says that Simon 1530 was the father of Christopher Martin 1575 and he was married to Poebe Matson in 1599 in Essex England. Married the second time to Marie Prower born 1571 in 1607 in Great Burstead, Billerica, England

Martin-63172 and Martin-3283 appear to represent the same person because: These are the same person, but not the proven father of Christopher Martin of the Mayflower. Please merge duplicates.
