Biography

Benjamin married Mary Ann Elvira Tribble and they had six children. He served during the Civil War in the 19th Regiment, South Carolina Infantry, Manigault's Brigade, Company I as a private.[1] He also served as first rural mail carrier in Donalds area of Abbeville County, South Carolina.
