Cora Myrtle McKinzie was born on March 17, 1916 in Hopkins, Texas, United States, daughter of Henry James McKinzie (1890–1967) and Eva Lou Darden (1897–1990).
In 1930, Cora (14) was living in household of Henry J Mckinzie (41) at 739 East Broadway, Sulphur Springs with her father, Henry J Mckinzie (41); her siblings, Ruth Mckinzie (12), and Naomi Mckinzie (8); and Ella Mckinzie (32), Cora M Mckinzie (14), and Inez Mckinzie (5). [1]
