Biography

Marcy (Mercy?) Melvin was born in 1781 , the second of 13 known children of Jonathan Melvin and Beulah Leland. She was born in Massachusetts either in Conway or Grafton and died in Grafton in 1883. ^[1]

The Leland Magazine source on-line has lost its table formatting making it very hard to read. The page displaying Jonathan Jr. his family and his descendants currently appears on his page in Find A Grave.^[3]
