Ann Menasco was born on March 30, 1815 in Giles, Tennessee, United States, daughter of John Menasco (1779–~1847) and Isabella Johnson (1781–1863).

Ann married Richard Gail Saunders (born on March 11, 1811 in , Hawkins, Tennessee, USA; son of George Nathan Saunders and Mary Elizabeth (Grantham) Saunders). Their daughter was Elizabeth Sanders (1840–1909).

Ann died on December 22, 1876 in Mantee, Chickasaw, Mississippi, United States, aged 61.
