Biography
Ottiwell Metcalfe of Swinithwaite, Wensleydale, Yorkshire (d.v.p. 1500), is probably a younger son of Thomas Metcalfe (b. c. 1424 - d. 1503/4) and Elizabeth, daughter of William de Hertlington.[1] His only son was James of Firby and Swinithwaite (b. c. 1490).
