Biography

When Samuel Minot was born on March 25, 1706, in Concord, Massachusetts, his father, James, was 52 and his mother, Rebecca, was 40. ^[1] He married Sarah Prescott and they had three children together. ^{[2] [1]} He then married her sister Dorcas Prescott and they had two children. ^{[3] [1]} He died on March 17, 1766, in his hometown at the age of 59, and was buried in the Old Hill Burying Ground.
