Peter Montague, youngest son of William Montague, married Elanor Allen in 1593 in Burnham, Boven, England. She was the daughter of William Allen of Buruham, Bucks.
Peter moved his family from Boveney to Warfield, Berkshire, where his youngest 3 children were born, before 1614. In 1630 he and his wife are on a list of assigned church seats. Peter's will was proved March 15 1638/39 in Warfield.
William, baptized March 6 1596/7 in Boveney and inherited his uncle William's estate in Boveney. Before 1606 part of the extate was sold to Thomas Eyre of East Burnham, showing that family fortunes may have taken a downturn and therefore gave a reason for 2 of William's brothers to immigrate to the new world. William had three sons, George, William and Robert.
