Alexander (Montgomerie) Montgomery Second Lord Montgomery is a member of Clan Montgomery.

Alexander Montgomerie, Master of Montgomerie was born circa 1445.[1] He was the son of Alexander Montgomerie, Master of Montgomerie and Elizabeth Hepburn.[2]

He was styled 2nd Lord Montgomerie, although apparently he never held the title.[3]

He married Catherine Kennedy, daughter of Gilbert Kennedy of Dunure, 1st Lord Kennedy and Catherine Maxwell, before 1459.[1] They had issue:

  1. Hugh, 1st Earl of Eglinton b. c 1460, d. Jun 1545
  2. John, of Bowhouse, dsp.
  3. James
  4. Eupheme or (Helen?),[3] m. Sir James Bruce of Airth[3]
  5. Marjorie, m. William Master of Somerville on 13 June 1476.[3][4]

Alexander died circa 1468.[1]
