Bessie was born in 1826. She is the daughter of Leonard Morgan and Lillie Fisher. Aunt Bessie always had a smile and a lap dog. She only had one son, but she mothered on all of the kids. She and Uncle Orville lived in Beaumont for years (Uncle Orville worked for the Railroad there). When he retired they returned to Nacogdoches County. She passed away in 2009 and is buried in Lower Melrose Cemetery in Nacogdoches County Texas. [1]
